Have you heard of the Pittsburgh Banjo Club? Are you looking for an original evening out? The Banjo Club has been around for over 35 years and is a favorite evening excursion for all ages. This is not technically a show; rather it’s the club’s rehearsal, which includes not only banjos, but also trumpets and singers. People of all ages come to sing, dance, hang out, drink, and eat. Last year WSC members had a great time listening to banjo music and singing old-time favorites like Shine on Harvest Moon, You Beautiful Doll and Bill Bailey to name a few. The mood is lively, and entry is free so come for a good time – you will not be disappointed!
- Doors open 7PM. Music starts at 8PM till 11PM
- Parking on street. Cedar Ave. is metered, but free after 6PM. Do not park in Giant Eagle – they ticket and tow
- Food – cheap bar food, drinks and a weekly special.
- RSVP by Sunday, September 15th so seats can be reserved –
Text Name and Number of people coming to Colleen Curley.
