WSC Bike Ride

SATURDAY, JUNE 8, 2013

Great Allegheny Passage Trail

Meet at Meyersdale, PA Train Station at 10 am

From Meyersdale, we will travel south, going across the 909-foot long Keystone Viaduct, cross the Eastern Continental Divide (the highest point on the Great Allegheny Passage) and through the 3,294-foot long Big Savage Tunnel. We’ll stop at the end of the tunnel to enjoy the view, then return (about a 20-mile ride). Bring a flashlight for the tunnel as it is only dimly lit, water or another drink, and some snacks.

WEAR YOUR HELMET!!

You can shorten the ride by beginning at either Sand Patch or Deal (see directions on the ATA website below). In the event of rain, we will reschedule.

THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE—BRING A FRIEND!

Contact Rich Zisek to let him know if you plan to ride. If you decide to come at the last minute, you can just show up.
