July Westmoreland Ski Club Kayaking Trip

The Westmoreland Ski Club will be having a 4 hour float down the beautiful Youghiogheny River between Dawson and Layton on the hot days of July.  Come and enjoy the scenery and relax on the river.

When – July 10^th at 11:00 AM, please arrive by 10:30 AM

Where – Hazelbakers River Trips, 654 Layton Rd, Layton, PA

Cost – Rental is $30 plus tax per person for canoe, single kayak or tandem kayak.  Shuttle your own equipment is $18.

Food – Bring your own snacks for the trip.  After the float we will meet at Bud Murphy’s, 718 McCormick Ave, Connellsville, PA

Reservations – Everyone needs to make their own reservations online

Step 3) Select “Book Now” for –

1- Float Trip with Kayak (Adult Rate) $35.00 4hours OR

2- Float Trip with Canoe (Adult Rate) $35.00 4 hours OR at

3- Float Trip with Tandem Kayak (Adult Rate) $70.00 –charging for 2 people 4 hours

Step 4) Select Number of guest and select July 10^th

Step 5) Select Shuttle 11:00 AM AND the rental you picked at 11:00 AM   (if you are renting a canoe at checkout they will offer a canoe seat back for $1.00)

Step 6) Add to cart – At checkout Enter Payment Information

Step 7) After the reservation is made go to the home page and under the orange Reserve River Trips select Liability Forms and River Safety Rules.  Please print, read and sign the Waiver and Release of Liability Form and bring it on July 10th

Note – Reservations are first come first serve – so it is recommended that you reserve and pay for a spot by June 19^th.    If you need to cancel, refunds are not given.  A credit will be given.
